“Just a wonderful place in a great location. The house is huge, with a fully equipped kitchen with anything you might need, smart TVs, and a washer/dryer. Good sized pool, nice grounds, comfortable beds, capacious bathrooms, and lots of birds around.The views into the central valley are amazing, both during the day and with the lights at night. Yet the house is very private. Very easy access with all paved roads, a short drive into Atenas, and about 30 minutes to the airport. Communication……

“We loved this little spot! It was a great place to land after our flight. Very close to downtown Alajuela, which meant that we could walk out our door in the morning and find a nice cafe and good food at the Central Market. Our only challenge was that the traffic was quite loud overnight; my partner had a hard time sleeping, even with the provided earplugs. I recommend this location for sure for heavy sleepers.”

“Here are some the pros: nice location on a residential street, easy access to downtown if you walk (about seven blocks away), nice shower head, big bed (but I found mattress uncomfortable so was glad I brought a memory foam mattress topper with me), owner was always responsive and very nice. Cons: no one was there to greet me when I arrived (had to wait 20 min), leaking roof in several rooms (they sent someone to repair but it was not completely fixed), outdoor furniture was all broken and……

“Beautiful views at the Lookout, including fabulous sunsets. We were blessed with amazing weather the whole week which made driving some of the backroads easier. The house was clean, comfortable, and had all necessary conveniences. ”

“Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. ”
