“There are many small, single room,camp-like former motels in the Berkshires. Many tend towards shabbiness and neglect— not this one! I found my room warm and inviting with lots of little decorative touches that were imaginative and made me smile. The inclusion of a reading chair and writing desk is a huge plus for me. “This was my first stay at the Williams Inn and I found it the coziest hotel I've stayed at! The furnishings are lovely and the lobby area very inviting (especially in the winter when the fire is always going). There's also - unfortunately, I didn't discover this until the end of my stay - a little nook area off to the side with books, games, and complimentary fruit water. The rooms were lovely and clean. “Very terrible experience. Booked this hotel as I had an important interview downtown in Albany. When I arrived there at 9pm, it’s overbooked and we were relocated to a motel 20 mins away. The motel was terrible and the hair dryer was even broken. The staff was rude when we tried to understand the situation. The staff on duty promised to cover the extra transportation costs from the motel to the bus terminal for the next day and arranged a taxi for us. But we were kicked out of the taxi as the……
