“It was a nice place to stay overall. They were in the middle of doing renovations at the time. Our room was nicely done, but it appeared that they didn’t update the bed. It wasn’t firm and somewhat worn which affected my sleep. The walls were thin and I could hear the person in the next room talking as if there wasn’t a wall. The complimentary breakfast was a nice treat. ”

“Just a perfect amazing experience from the second you walk in the door. Beautiful historic building. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. The wine and cheese happy hour with piano player was fantastic. Room was incredible - we stayed in Treetop Suite and I highly recommend. Breakfast was gourmet and cooked to order. We noticed most guests have been coming there for many years - I can see why. Add us to that list of regulars!”

There was little he could do as I had booked through Expedia. I ended up paying full price and am finding it impossible to communicate with Expedia...”

“Nice location, clean grounds. The room was adequate. Two suggestions are offered; first the decks would benefit greatly by having privacy barriers in between. There is zero privacy outside on your private deck otherwise. Second, The water machine would be more useful if left on after breakfast hours. The area is nice. For the price I’d say it’s an 8/10. ”
