“Clean and comfortable ”

“There are not many places to stay near Hillsdale, NY. The Brooks Motel is an exceptional find. A renovated 1950s roadside motel, The Brooks provided a safe haven for the night. A no host hotel, guests are provided by email a code for the keypad on the door. A text and phone number are provided to reach the host if something is needed. The hosts are quick to respond and very gracious. Beds are new memory foam and very comfy. My only complaint is that there is no carpet on any floor, only……

“Very nice stay at a place about a five-mile drive from downtown Rhinebeck. The modern inn did not breakfast and snacks were not available, however the room was well stocked with coffee and tea. Harlow is among the trending lodgings where the innkeepers are not always around. However we stayed on a Thursday and Friday night so its possible things might have been a little different on the weekend.”

There is nothing very remarkable about the property — but the Berkshires provide plenty of opportunities for beauty, well designed gardens, places to walk and relax.”

“It was ok; our daughter found hairs on her blanket that were not hers. We had a stink bug under ours. Sheets didn’t look clean but smelled like bleach so that was ok. Great for an emergency stay but not a relaxing one. The clerks/ managers were fantastic! ”

“The setting for this bed and breakfast was what you think of when you think of bed and breakfast - quaint setting - rustic accommodations in a country environment. Bring your computer or a book - no TV in the room. The only "complaint" is that breakfast was sparse. We thought she said, "yogurt, fruit, and granola" but when we looked in the around the common kitchen/frig we didn't see any granola. There were 2 containers of yogurt and a small bowl of blueberries. We weren't sure the other stuff……
