“It was a nice place to stay overall. They were in the middle of doing renovations at the time. Our room was nicely done, but it appeared that they didn’t update the bed. It wasn’t firm and somewhat worn which affected my sleep. The walls were thin and I could hear the person in the next room talking as if there wasn’t a wall. “Just a perfect amazing experience from the second you walk in the door. Beautiful historic building. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. The wine and cheese happy hour with piano player was fantastic. Room was incredible - we stayed in Treetop Suite and I highly recommend. Breakfast was gourmet and cooked to order. “I made an unfavorable post earlier because there were so many things, but I did change rooms once I got there and the 2nd room was not ready. I talked to the staff and everything was fixed immediately and I would definitely recommend staying at this place. They are kind, courteous and very close to so many things.
