“This was our first cottage rental for a family of 10 getaway. Very nice setting and convenient location to nearby activities/stores.The kitchen was well stocked, had everything we needed and the whole cottage provided comfort. ( beds, pillows, furniture)The sandy beach and water depth was perfect for kids. They loved it.After a string of hot days the cottage was extremely hot. Overhead fans in 3 of the bedrooms somewhat helped, but additional portable fans for the master bedroom and living room……

“This property a great choice for a nice getaway with group of friends or with your family. It offers ample space and an excellent sized kitchen for cooking, and plenty of kitchen accessories and supplies for your cooking needs. Being by the lake was the highlight of this property. They had kayaks and a canoe for use. Would come back again ! ”

“We wre incredibly relaxed during the entire stay. No tight schedules to keep. Planned each day according to our moods. We are not hot tub people but its nice that its there for others. Nice fire pit as well. Unfortunately nights were hazy so star gazing was out, but not a drop of rain during the 4 days. Temps around 24⁰ each day. All in all a terrific get- away. Thank you Kate and Jon!”

“Lovely clean cottage on the river. Super dock cannonballs for my older grandchildren and short distance to toddler friendly beach. We enjoyed getting the cousin crew together with plenty of room and activities for all ten of us.”

“Our family enjoyed our stay in Hidden Valley. The house was easy to find and get in to. The space inside was very nice, appreciated the little extra things here and there like cozy throw blankets. I personally think the photos on the listing do not do it justice - the bathroom was much roomier than expected and we didn’t even realize there would be a sizeable deck.
Sharing 1 bathroom with a big family gets difficult but we knew that when we booked so it worked out well enough for just a couple……

“Our stay at Steve's cottage last week was nothing short of magical. The highlight, without a doubt, was the **absolutely spectacular sunset view over Penn Lake, right from the private dock. Winding down each evening watching the sky explode in color over the calm water was an unforgettable experience – a view truly rare to find and worth the trip alone!The lake itself felt alive and welcoming. We loved watching the big fish swimming right under the deck and were charmed daily by a sweet family……

“We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage by the lake. The hosts were amazing – very welcoming and always responsive to our requests, including providing bed linens we hadn’t realized we needed to bring. We truly enjoyed using the kayaks, SUP boards, and pedal boat. It was a lovely and memorable holiday!”

“Cottage Binx hosted our two families for a cottage getaway. The cottage was nestled in the woods on the Muskoka river and provided great privacy. The cottage itself was very clean and perfectly accommodated our two families. Our host Tej was excellent in answering any questions we had during our stay, always responding within minutes. The cottage has kayaks, and the kids loved fishing on either the paddle boat or the aluminum rowboat. The fire pit area was awesome for a campfire and roasting……

“A beautiful spot to soak in a bit of Muskoka. Central to everything. Close to Huntsville and Algonquin Park, Lions Head lookout and Dwight Beach.Thoroughly enjoyed our morning coffees on the back porch taking in the view of the lake. The condo is well stocked.
