“Great location for visiting the Nyack Snow Park. Took our young kids up to play in the snow. Super easy with the snow park just one exit away from the cabin. Cabin was clean and tidy when we got there. ”

“Host was very communicative. It was very clean and well stocked with paper towels, spices, etc. close to skiing. I would definitely stay here again! ”

“I stayed here with my 5 girlfriends for a weekend to celebrate my 50th. After a couple of them left, some of the Dads came up with the kids. The property was spacious with ample bathrooms. Everything was really clean. My friends enjoyed the extra spices that were left behind in the pantry for cooking our meals. We roamed the property near the creek and the kids enjoyed the fair garden. We were finally able to enjoy the jacuzzi right before we left. We can't wait to come back! Just a head's up……

“The girls in my family came to Graeagle for the Christmas tree lighting and shopping day. We arrived to the house decorated for the holidays, heater on, and super cozy. We cooked, puzzled, and laughed our way through the weekend and had a very pleasant time. Even had a cozy fire. We would recommend this amazing mountain house to everyone, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.”

“Stayed in Baby Bear (there’s also a papa bear and mama bear cabin on property. Very sweet cabin for 2 people . Owners were lovely and responsive. Cabin is cute and, although basic, is perfect for two people. Nice hot tub. Great location.”

“We had a great stay at this location. We had a fairly large group (8 adults, 4 children). There was plenty of space to relax, and most importantly enough bathrooms to accommodate our group. Scott was a fantastic host and was incredibly communicative during our stay. This was the first time we've been to the Donner/Lake Tahoe area during the summer, and it was a great experience. ”

“Great get away, remote yet within easy reach of Nevada City and Grass Valley. Was a wonderful place for our post-thanksgiving family retreat (7 people, ages 17-83 plus dogs) where we bonded with lots of good conversation in the lovely house which is well designed with open spaces. Secure gated area for dogs which is very nice. Lovely property to stroll around. Recommend day trip to Empire Mine and to Nevada City. Overall, a terrific visit”

“This is a beautiful big country cabin and the theme holds up through out. Only caution is it can be hard to find at night and there is no cell service in the area. Know exactly where you are going before you go. Also, make sure you see all fees before you book. I would stay there again if I had a larger group. ”
