“This little cabin was in an ideal getaway spot close to hiking trails and perfectly situated in the mountains. Be aware that it is a mountain cabin. Everything works, and everything is clean, but it is a rustic. Specifically, there are tricks to getting a hot shower, but don't give up the water heater does work. They just did a whole bunch of improvements, and it made the cabin very comfortable. This is a mountain gem, and I couldn't recommend it more.”

“The landscaping front & back is beautiful & welcoming. Seeing rows of flowering plants in full bloom from the big deck was peaceful. Walkable area for anyone with pets although all our guests’ pets were all back home. Great open floor plan. Great primary suite w double sinks. Kitchen easy to have 2-3 prepping & cooking and better pans, refrigerator and stove than we’ve ever encountered in a STR. Comfortable furniture all around, too. I highly recommend the hosts. “Staying at Tara was an amazing experience. Everything was exactly what we were looking for to get away for the weekend! The cabin was spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals including spices and condiments (except butter), the couch was so comfortable, there were extra blankets, towels, toilet paper and even a first aid kit. We made use of the projector for movie nights which was super fun. One heads up - the master bedroom does not have any curtains, so I recommend eye masks for sleeping!
