“We stayed at the home while getting our son settled in as a freshman at Virginia Tech and also spent some time enjoying the area. It's an older building in a rustic setting, but the home has been updated and we found it to be clean and comfortable. The nearby creek is lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.”

“This place is special. The cabin is tucked at the end of a long, forested, rhododendron lined drive that runs along a stream. After passing a photogenic old barn, you are greeted with the most charming log cabin, tucked just beyond the two ponds. There is no noise pollution - instead, you'll be enchanted by birdsong and a nightly chorus of frogs. It was exactly what we needed. “This simple but roomy camper was tidy & cozy, w/ many amenities (freezer, fridge, gas stove, TV, radio, linens, good cell service) & the perfect getaway to take my twin daughters for college fall break. I don’t think you can even see another house from there (maybe one), but the fall foliage, grazing cattle, rolling hills & winding creek were serene & breathtaking.
