“Highly recommend this property to anyone looking to get away in NH. The owner is responsive and easy to communicate with. Property was clean, well stocked with cooking gear and cooking basics, there was firewood and kindling for making a fire, and everything was in good working condition. We had infants and children with us and they had a blast. Location is a quick 20 minutes away from downtown Dover and the Children's museum, if you're looking for something to do with small children. “6 Damon was lovely! We wanted somewhere to stay nearby a heavy shopping area but far enough away to be able to remove ourselves from the chaos. We completed all our Christmas shopping, saw a beautiful play at the Palace Theater, relaxed by the fire, cooked a full meal and ate overlooking the pond. Just wonderful :)”

“We loved our stay; the house is beautifully appointed and clearly made with love--and the view is gorgeous. The hosts thought of absolutely everything--including games, crafts materials, books and puzzles. Even our dog felt the love, with bowls and a basket of chew toys set out for him to explore. The upstairs loft is a perfect hideaway for kids, and the living room was a great space to relax, play games and read by the fire place. This place is really special. ”

“My husband and I were looking for an out-of-the-way, quiet spot to reset for the weekend and the yurt checked all the boxes and more! We absolutely loved our stay. Everything about staying here was easy and comfortable. The interior was cozy and laid back with just enough amenities to help us feel at home. We were able to cook all of our meals on the grill and in the kitchen. We picked up fresh veggies from the farmers market on Church St, delicious steak, corn and snacks from the Heritage……

“I come to The Cottages at Harvey Lake every year for at least a week. It’s a wonderful location, quiet lake, close to restaurants, nice little beach with access to kayaks, and very pet friendly. Nancy Carver is super nice, greets you when you check in and is very quick to respond if you need anything. Love coming here!”

“Greylag has to be one of the most serene nature spots I could imagine. The Cabin is Cozy with room to spare. The Wild Goose Pond did not disappoint with its gorgeous views and sounds of Loons echoing across the water. If you get a chance and can bear it, as you walk through the soft ground of the surrounding woods, I suggest taking your shoes off for some NH grounding!
