Hosts made us feel welcome with a little gift which was much appreciated. Pretty much everything we could need was thought of and available. View was beautiful, great to wake up and drink our coffee while listening to the loons. So quiet which we loved. Would definitely stay again!”

“Well appointed, clearly newly updated. Bedrooms were on first and second floors which made it easier for couples, because the bathrooms were not in the bedrooms. It’s a beautiful property that I’m sure is wonderful year round. The only complaint was the garage was so cold we couldn’t utilize it.”

“The charming home is very remote and private. Updated kitchen and bathroom providing all amenities you could want. Comfortable beds, but master is very tall. Although the living area futon seating provides extra sleeping options, they are not the most comfortable for sitting/lounging. A softer chair or two would be welcome. Lovely deck for lake watching. Frogs aplenty!”

“We went in November for a small family retreat and did expect to nor did we swim or kayak. But being on the lake, sitting on the dock and small beach was a magical way to see so many many stars in the sky. It was steps to walk into Pawtuckaway park and go in a hike. We made it to the fire tower!”

“Mike's lakeside property in Barnstead was amazing. We had perfect weather for enjoying morning coffee on the dock with some occasional loon activity. The property easily accommodated our group of four and we texted with Mike to allow an additional couch-surfer from the wedding party. We really appreciated the full-size fridge and washer and dryer as this was part of a cross-country trip. My dog and I also made sure to get some really nice walks in and see what the other birds were up to. I……
