“Chime Cottage was absolutely charming! It had everything we needed—cozy, cute, and perfectly functional. The space was thoughtfully designed and felt like a true home away from home. “So i suppose the price for a night isnt bad, but when youre expecting a whole apartment aslisted and there are others there, its not so great. Stood outside door for 20mins. Not easy to get key via access code( no email before) 2 towels for 3 people, 1 was damp, 1 had a brown 'stain' on it. Bedding old and worn. Headboards dubiously stained!!!!”

“A beautiful, cozy, delightful cottage in the heart of Bakewell. My mother and I stayed here for 5 nights and had everything we could want, and were even able to make ourselves dinner in the well equipped kitchen. The front patio was a peaceful spot to sit, and we loved the location. The house was very comfortable and the host was very responsive and kind. One of our favorite vacation rentals ever. ”

“really comfortable stay - the cottage is cosy but has high ceilings so no banged heads and it doesn't feel cramped. beds really comfy. fantastic location - amazing walks from outside the front door. lovely pub in the village down the hill. and the owners run the tea room next door so left us a lovely plate of cakes on arrival! ”

"I arrived quite early on the day. The reception lady stored my bags and allowed me to early check-in. Although i'm in no need rush. I want to visit the city first.
Warm welcome. It can become quite busy late in the afternoon.
The restaurants reservations is full until 2030 ( i approach them at 1830)
Close to train station.
