“This property was above and beyond our expectations! Completely spotless, our compliments to your cleaning service. Lovely decor, very comfy and welcoming. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. We really appreciated the welcome bag, with snacks and water for all four of us. Although we were only there for several days, we took advantage of the patio to have coffee in the morning, and cocktails in the evening. It was a great location, easily accessible to the Bridge,……

“A great way to visit the area. My husband fished on the pond every night and my son hiked up the property's trail to view the sunrise. Easy to access and not far from many Natl Park trails. Our hosts were very communicative and helpful. I hope to visit again.”

“We stayed for two nights on our trip back from Savannah to break up the drive and check out new river gorge park. House worked well for our group of six. Owners did a beautiful job of updating the amenities while maintaining the old house charm. This property is not for everyone but we really enjoyed checking out some of the old books, framed letters, and other items. “We stayed with our 2 young kids and dog and came to explore the New River Gorge National Park. The location was perfect and close to the Gorge, visitor center, and minutes from the Endless Wall Trail! We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit and watching the sun set from the property. The kitchen was well equipped and had a very nice gas range! We had a great stay and the Gorge offered spectacular views from the trails and overlooks.”

“We loved staying here and plan to book again in the future! It was so spacious for our family and the furniture (couches and beds) were super comfy. The shower water pressure and heat temperature was amazing in the main bathroom. The kitchen and all of the appliances were awesome. My kids had fun playing the games. “The property is very conveniently located to hiking trails. Parking is a bit difficult if you have a large car. I had to back out of the driveway when there was another car parked on the property. Overall, the property was clean, but the carpet is overdue for replacement, due to age and stains.. I did get a nail in my heel from the transition piece between the dining room and the kitchen. That needs attention.”
