“House was clean and comfortable. E-biking the Blackwater Canyon Trail to Hendricks and back was wonderful, the trail is feet from the house. Nearby Douglas Falls is great. Blackwater Falls State Park is just a few miles away. So many other outdoor activities nearby. We picked this destination because my wife began researching her genealogy a few years ago and found that her mother’s family was deeply embedded in the history of Tucker County. “This gem is close to the Appalachian highway but nestled amongst trees shading the back deck. I woke to horses in the adjacent field whinnying. Beautiful kitchen. Nice open floor plan that opens to dining and living. Lovely rooms upstairs. The bed I slept in was quite comfy. The complex has a heated pool, a volleyball court, a fire pit, a basketball court, a tennis court, a horseshoe pit and a catch and release pond with gazebo. “Everything was clean, well-stocked, and convenient!”

“The house is perfect and the space is completely immaculate. To be clear the front porch faces what looks like a gas station but actually is a country store ran by the nicest family. The right side of the house offers gorgeous river views. We were comfortable we absolutely loved our time down by the river. We had a fire we went fishing. It’s one of the best family trips we’ve taken.”
