“23rd year of vacationing together! Spacious cabin, clean, fun play set for the kids. Enjoyed the ponds, caught a few blue gill and bass. Kayaked, jumped off the rope swing, made s’mores around the fire pit. Nice flat lawn to set up yard games we brought with us. Lots of seating on the front porch and back deck. Watched movies and utilized the exercise equipment. Close to Beckley that has grocery shopping. Recommend the Coal mine museum in Beckley and Tamarack art place. Drive up to the New……

“My sister and I, our spouses, children, and dogs enjoyed our Thanksgiving in the WV mountains. We were even treated to a light snow one of the nights. The house property were exactly as expected. The house has absolutely everything that you can imagine or need. Plenty of bedding, towels, and the kitchen was very well stocked. John was an excellent host and very helpful when the cloudy days depleted the solar energy store and we needed to start the generator. We loved our stay and would……

“We had an awesome stay. The place was super clean. It smelled so good in our room. Description was very accurate. We used the grill outside and had a fire. Was super close to trails gas and food. Communication with the owner was great. They were here when we got here. Super nice people. Street in front of place was busy with side by side traffic. ( it was a Holiday weekend). “This is our second time staying at The Lodge and we are again blown away! Everything is so comfortable and relaxing. My son loves the dome and stargazing at night with that beautiful big sky view.
