“We had a wonderful stay at Washington Street Quarters! It was well-appointed, but we especially loved the "small town" character! We were passing through, but this made our stay so much more interesting than a standard hotel room!”

“This was the BEST little place. First impression when we walking in the door, IT SMELLED AMAZING. There was a little candle warmer going, and lamps on, so the lighting was so cozy. We put our stuff down and took showers then a nap after a long drive. The towels and bed sheets smelled amazing! I am a big smell person, and this whole place smelled so clean, and WAS so clean. “Park your car and walk to all the wonderful sites that town has to offer. My fiancé loved watching the trains come and go, and they did not wake us through the night. The outlets in the living room didn't work, but that wasn't a big enough deal to remove a star. The rocking chairs on the porch were so comfortable, and it was great to have a free reserved parking spot since it costs 20 and is difficult to get a public spot later in the day to tour. Within two blocks, you have several options……

“Cute condo on the river. If you’re adventurous you can pick your way down to the bank. The condo was clean and well appointed. The neighborhood was quiet. The New Spot has the best bologna sandwich and the coldest beer.”

“We had a nice stay, it was a place for us to lay our head each night. We spent our days at the New River Gorge National Park. The check-in was a little awkward and we didn't know where to go to get to the apartment. We had to walk around to the back of the garage, through the yard, and into a door. From there we had to enter another door to get to the stairs to get to the apartment. It would be helpful to have a paved path and some signage as we did not receive any directions.”
