“Came to be with my old MK nursing roommate we graduated 1965 that’s 60 years this year. She was just diagnosed with inoperative cancer and is in hospice. I watched over her during the night and came back and rested in the condo so well during the day. My husband, Dr Arnie Jostock was from rural Lake City so I know the town well. "Staying at the Alexander Mansion felt like stepping back in time to an era of elegance and warmth. Every piece of furniture and every lamp tells a story—but what truly made this stay unforgettable was the hospitality of the 80-something host, a former chef, who graciously prepared a beautiful and heartfelt breakfast ceremony for us. His kindness and attention to detail gave our journey a sense of home and heartfelt care. Thank you for not only providing a charming place to stay, but for making every guest feel seen, welcomed, and cherished. This will remain one of the warmest memories of my travels.
