“The lake was very peaceful. The house was large with plenty of room for everyone. We appreciated the thoughtfulness of leaving us mosquito coils and skewers to roast marshmallows. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. ”

“Easy check-in process and good communication. Comfortable home which was updated and suited most of our needs. Great location. First evening was very warm in the bedrooms area. It got to 85 degrees outside. The portable AC unit in the living/kitchen area kept that area cool enough for sure, but did not really cool off the sleeping areas even with the doors open and turning it on upon arrival and keeping it on through the night. It would be great to have a secondary unit in the bedrooms for……

“Another fantastic week at the Homestead in the Beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We spent the week fishing, boating, playing games, eating and drinking til our hearts were content! This cabin has made us so many memories and we will be back next year for sure! Tom is a phenomenal host and always gets back to me so quickly!!! We Love staying here! Once I win the lottery I will rebuilt the pool and clubhouse:) Thsts the plan anyway:)))”

“Cozy place. Hyper clean. Location couldn’t be better for town access. Our host made everything easy to navigate. House rules were simple an, made for an easy stay. We stay up here several times a year for all activities. Usually with friends. Sometimes it’s just nice to have your own space. The Lighthouse is perfect for that. We’ll definitely stay here again. Looking forward to the upstairs project so, we can bring our whole clan!”

“This was our second time staying at this house. Both times it was excellent. Very clean, the lake is amazing and the location is perfect. ”

“Wonderful getaway! I really appreciated that we were in a private area so I didn't have to worry about the dogs running around-they loved sniffing in the woods! Cute cabin, nice and clean, plenty of room for me, husband and the two dogs! Traci was so kind and welcoming-she also told us about the swamps in the state land down the road a ways and we went and explored them at sunset-GORGEOUS! Definitely want to come back with the kayaks! ”

“Wonderful property on a beautiful lake. Many fun activities to enjoy, yard games, bocce ball, sunning deck and swimming. The house is beautifully appointed and well stocked with essecential items. Double washer/dryers, dishwasher, double ovens, outdoor grill/s and spacious kitchen. Comfy beds and spacious gathering spaces. We throughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking again.
