“As promised, a real sanctuary. A small and hidden gem attached to a farmhouse, everything was spotless and clean like home. The farm grounds are beautiful, with a lovely view of the Peaks of Otter. This place is great for a couple or a solo traveller, a spot to unwind and unplug. It forced a change of pace and filled the day with activity — we went on three hikes including the challenging Sharp Top mountain, visited an apple orchard (and bought a peach sapling) and had excellent Thai and Indian……

“The house was very nice. The host offered lots of coffee, shampoo, hand soap, towels, and wash cloths and even detergent for the dish washer. The hot tub, showers, and beds were very clean. The WiFi offered did not work to be able to pull up the VRBO app to communicate with the host or to be able to play pandora. We loved our daily visits from the family of deer”

“Very nice cabin, we were extremely impressed by it. It's location as perfect in relation to Lexington (maybe 5 minute drive), the surrounding scenery was very nice. The attention to detail of the cabin was very thorough as well. Cabin was clean and hygienic material provided (soap, shampoo, towels) was on par with a top notch hotel. The only room for improvement we saw were that the ironing board was actually broken down the middle and had been broken from a previous guest I suppose, so my wife……

“Amazing would be an understatement, Beth goes above and beyond for her guests. The cabin is very secluded and right on the river. She gives you access to the property that most wouldn't. Probably one of my best experiences with an owner and I'm not exaggerating. I highly recommend this get away to anyone 100 times over. The cabin itself is very nice and comfortable. “What a charming house! It was very spacious and the host thought of everything. It was well stocked with everything you could think of, down to the slippers for walking out to the hot tub. ”

“This place has potential, but there are several things that need to be done for the property to bring it up to the standard of a vacation rental. First and foremost, it needs a deep cleaning. We spent our first full day of vacation cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds are awful. Awful. The appliances are in need of replacement.
