“This was first time in the area, We had most wonderful stay at hodge podge lodge. The house was beautiful and sparking clean, well organized and have everything what we needed for stay. It located in nice neighborhood near soda spring ski resort. The house was warm and cozy , heater was good , wood stove was nice touch with plenty of firewood supplies. The bedroom was spacious and beds were comfortable. It was big plus to have easy in and out drive way to the house. We definitely recommend……

“This penthouse was worth much more that the cost. It was an exceptional place, and my family really enjoyed it. I will encourage everyone who wants a once-in-a-lifetime experience to visit this penthouse. It is worth the money. The host, Aaron was phenomenal. ”

“We've stayed here a few times and it's a cute lodge and convenient for our trip. Nothing special and low frills. The past 2 times we stayed, we were in a different room. This time the room was definitely older and needed repair. The ceiling fan had layers of dust on it and the paint and sheetrock was bubbled and needed painting badly. ”

“Everything was as advertised. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. We never turned on the TV, but we did use our travel Bluetooth speaker. We chose the downstairs bedroom, even though it has the smaller bed, because the view out the windows is superior. Our dog loved the yard and chilling on the porch. The RV was not there during our stay, so all was quiet and private. It was just right for us!”

“We are usually a very active family but this trip we really enjoyed slowing it down and hanging around the house. They had a bunch of games, dvd, kids books. More than enough room and beds. It was hard to pick which rooms to stay in. Ha! Our family needed this and it was great get away. Town is not far and we feel in love with Nevada city. They had dog man books and my son was over the moon about that. Great stay highly recommended it. ”

“Wonderful cabin in Grass Valley. I stayed with my sisters, so we were four adults, each got a fluffy warm bed. The house is also great fro family with kids as there are lots of nooks to sleep read and play. The kitchen is well equipped, and the location is quiet but still pretty close to the town. We were a bit disappointed to discover it was a IR sauna, but other than that communication with John was super clear and smooth and all in all a wonderful experience! Highly recommended!”
