“How can I put words on THE most incredible stay of our lives? This Castle has it all. We stayed in the double tower romantic room 23 and it was amazing. The view was breathtaking, the service was unmatched. We arrived at almost 11pm at night because of road and weather delays and they were kind enough to let us in. Nothing was overlooked when staying in this place. If you can stay two nights, do so, or get there right at check in. The museum is free to guests and there is an incredible garden……

Die Betten hatten gute Matratzen mit weichem Topper, so dass man sehr gut schlafen konnte. Ruhige Lage am Ortsrand. Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Auch ein Fahrradraum mit Lademöglichkeit ist vorhanden. War ein guter Ausgangspunkt für unsere Wanderungen und Radtouren. Werde dort gerne wieder einen Urlaub verbringen. ”

“Mitten im Hunsrück gelegen bietet die Unterkunft einen guten Startpunkt für Ausflüge an der Nahe und der Mosel.
Die Möbel, zumindest in unserem Zimmer, waren schon recht alt (unmodern) aber gut in Schuss und zweckmäßig. Die Badezimmertür ist als Glassschiebetür ausgeführt und verheimlicht nichts.
Ein Wanderrucksack steht im Zimmer für spontane Wanderslust zur Verfügung.
Der Saunabereich ist modern angelegt (ich habe nur einen kurzen Blick hinein geworfen).

“Staff were nice and helpful, though didn’t fix soap dispenser after i asked. There were things unexplained and it made the stay a little challenging. No drawers or closets for clothes in the rooms made it difficult to arrange clothing during the stay, shower only made the whole floor wet and other users of the bathroom have to walk on wet tile floor and use same wet floor towel. Breakfast was good but a little expensive 14€, even if you only drink one coffee and eat one croissant. Did not try……

“Good location. Nice room. We booked two rooms. One room had strong sweating smell, we requested to change to another room. Staff suggested us to swap the room among ourselves...haha that's not solving the problem. The staff didn't understand our situation. Fortunately, the manager stepped up and offered another room. “The hotel's location is good. However, we're not happy with the front desk clerks. As we had 3 people stayed there for 2 nights and we asked if we can change to a bigger room, even they don't have a room for 3. They answered that the hotel was fully booked. We felt that they just want to make an excuse to close the case of our request and not willing like to help.”
