“The outside needs some work. First impression wasn’t good. Inside the house it was nice. Did have ants in the bathroom near the heat vent. The front door was unlocked when we got there. No futon not that we needed it. Owner responded when there was questions and giving entrance info.”

“Keyless entry failed twice during our four night stay.Had to wait for owner to contact locksmith. Second time was after midnight before locksmith arrived.Results were that lock bolt for keyless entry was not installed correctly causing deadbolt to get stuck and not open door.Drain pipe in kitchen sink was not connected and flooded the kitchen floor when we used.”

“Had a lovely stay and had a small party with family and friends. Check-in was seemless, host quickly fixed a small issue with the WiFi. Mattresses were WONDERFUL. Furniture is eclectic but very comfy. Young adults loved the hot tub. ”

“This house is ridiculous, but in a good and fun way. We were in town with family to celebrate our daughter's graduation from Drake and this house was an excellent fit for our group. We only had seven people, but there is easily room to sleep 10 comfortably. We didn't use the kitchen, but the dining room table was great for a game of Five Crowns and we played a few games of darts in the game room downstairs.Location wise, it was a quick and easy drive from the house to both Drake and downtown Des……

“The GOOD: Easy to reserve and location was a perfect. Just an FYI… for some reason, 2 of us had issues with our cars GPS. It took both of us to SOUTH 61st street vs just 61st street.Weird. “This was a solid location, solid home. You can tell it was purchased with a quick-and-dirty turnaround as far as prepping it for VRBO-type stays.The host was responsive; the house was mostly clean; the appliances worked.This gets only four stars primarily because of a lack of light bulbs. Yes, seriously. Instead of light bulbs in the lamps in one of the bedrooms, there were click-on battery lights stuck onto where the light bulbs should go. The ceiling fan only had a bulb in only one out of……

“When we arrived at 9:30 pm it was 84 degrees in the house. It took until early morning before it was comfortable. We were also hit with the smell of dog urine. After the ac ran the smell went away. The house was clean and bedding was clean. There was a huge urine stain on one of the beds that did not come from us when we removed the bedding at the end of our stay. The location was great as it was an easy drive to many places were there to visit. ”
