“Friendly helpful staff”

“Comfortable bed and nice linens and fluffy new towels. Good tea and coffee sachets plus toiletries. Room was a little too warm but not a huge problem.”

“Had the potential to be an amazing stay in an old country house. The bedrooms have names not numbers. Music room bedroom was fantastic to look at when i stayed in april. But there were dead flies and dead hornets on the carpet where the carpet met the wall , at least 30 all around the edges of the room. Whom ever vacuums the room needs new glasses. The sink was embarrassingly slow to drain and wouldnt completely empty. The shower contols fell off in my hand. In the morning the……

“An excellent experience, the room was quiet and the windows opened fully to let in fresh air on a warm evening The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious including the generous cooked breakfast that was included in the charge for the stay. I would happily use Salwey Arms again.”

“Very good offering. Lovely reception and bad area. Rooms are a little dated but the hotel is perfectly good and has everything you need. Comfortable stay on all 3 occasions. Bar staff are super friendly and talkative.”

“Fantastic hotel in a very peaceful setting with great views of Ludlow castle and the gorgeous countryside. Had a beautiful room with views of the castle. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast served in the dining room with beautiful countryside views. Ludlow town is within easy reach on foot, crossing over the river before climbing the hill alongside the castle. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel.”
