“We had a lovely time staying in the old stone cottage. It was charming and comfy. We had a great time exploring the area, and enjoyed Vermont Vines wines and burgers very close by. Also MacLomain's Scottish pub in Chester. Grafton is a short drive away. Nice location. And the host was very friendly and accommodating and easy to communicate with. Thanks!”

“My husband & I needed a break before summer started & our work lives get crazy. This beautiful cottage was exactly what we needed. The peacefulness while watching birds & wildlife. The only know is go shopping prior to arriving. We went to Shaws that was 17 min away. It was so grossly over priced. Maybe due to the remoteness of the area....other than that this was a fantastic getaway. ”

“This unit is located on the second floor of an old carriage house. Great location, butting up against the Billiings Farm Museum, surrounded by two very old and nice homes, and not far from downtown Woodstock. Easy communication with the owner and manager. Very quiet area! Only problem was there is no tv. Be sure to bring your laptop or some books! ”

“This cottage is in a lovely, private spot. It was perfect for me to work while my husband attended the King Arthur Flour Baking School artesian bread baking class. We had one issue with the refrigerator losing power, we rigged up an extension cord to another outlet and had no further issues. Informed the management company via text, they did not send anyone to fix the faulty outlet but we did fine for our stay. ”

“This was the perfect cottage for a winter getaway. I was solo, but the home could have easily accommodated many more. I loved the vintage touches and had a nice time listening to the classic vinyl records while enjoying a glass of wine and watching it snow. I had dinner outside on the patio one night and the view was lovely. It is just a few minutes drive from Woodstock and Quechee and I visited both several times. “This cottage reviewed very well online and pictures were very accurate too. It was secluded and far from neighbors, fire house across the street but zero activity the whole weekend. The cottage had the amenities listed. It was neat and tidy, well equipped. Very confortable. Loved the wood stove. We used that and it was wonderful. Check in/out Instructions were easy to follow. The area was beautiful, peacefu and not too far away from groceries, food or beverages. Would definitely go……
