“We loved everything about our stay - the room, the bed, the amazing selections and made to order items at Breakfast. ...and while it was a bit too cool outside to try out the pool, relaxing in the gardens and watching the boats and canoes go by on the river was one of the highlights of our trip. Ouafaa was the hostess with the mostest! We will definitively be back! We also loved that we could walk to 6-8 restaurants on the path from the garden for dinner - so nice not to have to drive and find……

“Das Hotel liegt malerisch gelegen und ist wirklich ein Traum. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und sauber. Der Service war gut, aber nicht aussergewöhnlich aufmerksam. Der Spa war schön, aber man hat nur eine Stunde gratis Aufenthalt pro Tag als Gast. Das ist jedoch vollkommen genügend. Das Restaurant war sehr lecker und man bot mir sogar vegetarische Alternativen an. Sehr großes Lob! ”

“The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats.……

“The hotel décor is good, very clean and comfortable. Staffs are excellent, friendly and patient. Breakfast is good. Hotel is next to St Lazard station, convenience to take train and metro. Unfortunately the shower room has no curtain, after shower, especially washing hair, toilet is all wet. If this is not improved, I don't think I will stay again as shower is very important after a long day without taking care of watering on the floor.”

“We were disappointed upon arrival to learn that the onsite restaurant was closed. Our stay was at the end of the season but we were unaware of the closure. This was the only problem with our stay. At first WiFi to our room did not connect but manager/owner worked diligently and successfully got it working! The “old farm” architecture was just as we had pictured and the view of the surrounding countryside was beautiful and soothing. We enjoyed a glass of wine sitting on the large deck overlooking……

“Wonderful time away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities. Domme is a gem. The hotel was perfect to make your own breakfast, lunch, and dinner…just plan a bit as your groceries will require a trip to the local stores in Domme or Cenac. “Pour une Chambre confort, avec lit double, 2 matelas, on sentais bien la séparation au milieu .. tres dommage pour un confort. Je me demande maintenant quelle est la différence réelle avec une chambre standard, ?? A part le prix.. Le réceptionniste du soir très agreable, Par contre la personne qui a fait les PDJ du mercredi matin, il faudrait lui apprendre a débarrasser plus discrètement, entre les courants d'air qu'il faisait juste en passant devant nous, ensuite la vaisselle qu'il empilait……

“Welcoming, very pleasant & helpful staff. Room clean & modern. Stairs quite steep, there is a lift to the 1st floor only, suppose because it is an older building. Food very good, beautifully presented & great flavours. Our bugbear was the flies in the buffet area & restaurant at breakfast- maybe this was weather related as it had very wet then hot. We very much enjoyed our stay”
