“There is no on site staff. Communication is bad. Due to the traveling, we missed the email on the door code. So when we arrived, we called 3 times and emailed 2 times but no answer and that was between 3pm to 4pm. We asked around and figured out via Expedia, your website and searched all our emails. Finally we were able to get into the property - an hour and half after arriving. The shower room did not have a hand rail - concerning the safety. ”

“This is such a beautiful place to stay in Maui. Everything is so closed. The OGG airport is only 25 minutes away. You have beaches super closed, restaurants, parks, food trucks, stores… we loved this place. Eva and Jim were absolutely attentive and welcoming. They made us feel as if we were at home. They are a gem! We will definitely come back to stay at this beautiful place! Thank you so much for your hospitality!”

“The space was nice and clean. We had food to take with us during the trip up to sunrise viewing. My son had fun playing with the hosts’ kids. They were all kind and pleasant to talk with. The town, Makawao is a really cute little destination. ”

“We liked absolutely everything about this place. Could have easily moved in. Extremely relaxing and comfortable. Very nicely decorated. Quiet neightborhood. Wonderful DIY breakfast provided the next morning. Wish we could have stayed longer. Our friends stayed there a week later and felt the same. ”

“We stayed here 2 nights and the property was amazing. the bed was comfy and the listing was spacious. As locals who were staying on our wedding night, we appreciated the quiet neighborhood and stunning views. As someone who has been a host & in the hospitality industry, I was surprised to see the doorways between the main house (host) and our place, was separated by a thin plastic waffle pull out door. We had met Steve and his wife, who were helpful checking in, and it didnt end up being a……

“Natural beauty abounds!”

“Steve was very good about communicating and making sure we were all set. The space was clean and very nice, but the dome and the decks are what make this place so amazing. We sat on the back deck to watch the sunset. We then had a beautiful clear night in the dome to sleep under the stars. An amazing place to stay!”

“Exceeded our expectations! From the easy check-in to the incredible breakfasts, the old-school pool and hanging garden, and an unexpected herd of deer running through the property, this was one of the most relaxing and tranquil escapes we’ve experienced. The town of Makawao gave us tasty afternoon meals (Satori!) and the beautiful mountain area provided plenty of scenic driving. Only advice I’d give is to plan to enjoy the space while you’re staying, as it would be a shame to not settle in.……

“We stayed 3 nights. This was the first time to stay upcountry and we were pleasantly surprised by the contrast of the slower pace from the beach areas. Greeted with a smile by Josh as we came to the entry door and he explained about check in. The house is newly renovated, welcoming and very clean all over. The suite is huge, comfortable and private. Shower has plenty of hot water and pressure. We had lovely and tasty breakfast with some items changed every day. Josh will make Latte on request.……
