“Great when working away ftom home”

“Lovely old building with the tiles in the hall a nice feature. Bed and pillows very comfy. Shower clean and functional. Breakfast was excellent, particularly the sausages ! Thank you”

“Great location to stay right in the centre of town and basically next to the Cathedral area. Room was comfortable and nicely appointed. We had dinner in the bar, very friendly staff and decent food. Breakfast in he morning was equally nice - it is a beautiful old building and these areas were lovely. For us also useful that it had parking included. A very nice play to stay in Carlisle. ”

“Just what you need for an overnight stop or a base for local visiting. We were surprised to find we now have to pay a £5 parking fee as we had not booked directly with Days Inn, which was an unwelcome surprise”

“The overall status of the hotel is nice, we arrived quite later at 1:00am, but the housekeeping starts knocking doors from 9:30 all the way to 10:40 (about 4 times) to ask people to check out... they really did what their boss told...”

The Hotel is an old converted town house with all the rooms upstairs. Big wide staircases no lift. The pub next door has a good selection of food at reasonable prices. We enjoyed our stay. .”
