“The apartment was clean, the kitchen contained all the necessary items, the bed was very comfortable. The television worked only sporadically. The noise from the parking lot just outside my window was considerable, from the emptying of a dumpster at 6:30 am to the 1 am passing of one of the many freight trains on the track just the other side of the parking lot. “This little houseboat was so cute. Everything worked as expected. It was so romantic to be able to sit on the back of the boat and fish all night with my wife. Everything was perfect. Everyone we meet was so nice. If I had only one recommendation if you stay on this boat, take you a bed topper or something, it wasn’t a very thick mattress. The second night we slept a lot better. “We were in town for FW Stock Show and The Stockyard Exchange was a great place to stay! There is a lot of personality in this 3 bedroom house. It was fun to learn more about some of the antiques and unique decorations. It’s an older home with modern updates. Beds were comfy, coffee was stocked and it was conveniently located to many places while keeping us in a neighborhood setting.
