“Easy access ”

“We had a party of 10 -- eight adults and two children. The cabin was large enough to accommodate all of us very comfortably. We were all in PA to celebrate my father's 88th birthday and the cabin was close enough to Wellsboro, PA where my father lives; and an excellent venue for the rest of the family to gather to celebrate comfortably on the day of his birthday.”

“Annually we look for a house that comfortably fits our family. The upstairs was perfect for a large living area to share time together. The upstairs was perfect for a long table to eat together. The bonus was a beautiful kitchen upstairs but also a kitchen downstairs to prepare all our family dinners. Beds are everywhere with rooms for privacy for each family. Host was kind to alert us to the best roads to reach the lodge considering winter weather. She met us at check in to assure……

“Classic old charm....and I mean lots and loads of charm. Decent free breakfast and on site dinning. In center of village so walking about is a must. We visited to view the stars at Cherry Springs which is 45 minutes away. The rooms are small compared to most hotels and our bed was a bit soft for me but just right for my partner. I will gladly take a smaller room just to stay at this hotel. The staff is soo friendly and helpful for directions and recommendations. Place gets a 10 .”

“Good house and location to Cherry Springs. New kitchen appliances but bring what you'll need to cook: pots and pans, measuring cups, cutting board, a ladle (if soup), a wine key.The beds we used were comfortable and linens were in good condition. Could have used some more lamps in the public rooms for cozier lighting. All in all, a very nice place.”

“Amazing mountain & sky views. Quiet and comfortable. Nice comforts and touches to the room. Loved our rocking chairs on our patio overlooking the views. Perfect room for 2 for a getaway trip. ”

“We stayed for a frigid week, so didn't get to partake of any farm or pond activities. The nest was cozy, warm and welcoming. Lots of thoughtful extras stocked in case things were forgotten. Washer and dryer were not noted in listing but are there. Will definitely be on our short list for return trips.”
