“We spent 2 nights at this cottage In October. Fun fact: my grandparents built this cottage in the 60’s and I spent many summers there in the 80’s and 90’s. I was happy to find it available as a vacation rental! The owner has updated the cottage, but kept its charm. It’s very cozy and well appointed. The screened in back porch is perfect for summer nights or rainy fall days. The location is very serene and quiet. During the summer, swimming and canoeing from the dock is perfect. “What a beautiful home and amazing hosts! Every little detail was thought of! We brought clothes, groceries, beach towels and sunscreen. Kayaks and paddleboards available with a short walk to the dock. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood and a large screened porch for coffee and afternoon naps. “Treacherous path from carbto cabin. Frogs come in through hole in bathroom floor. Place was filthy and sand on everything. Screens do not fit windows, so bugs stream in. The floor is so sloped its difficult to walk. The uneven decking is dangerous. Horrible!”

“Newly refurbished with quality furnishings and amenities.Very quiet and private. My one problems was the step up to the living room. The step is blended in with the floors and caused me to trip. A different color on trim of stair would prevent that. I used a chair over that area to remind me it is not flat. Wi-Fi was perfect. Tv nice. Owner responded quickly for any info. Fireplace nice. I would definately stayhere again.”
