“This hotel was really great, i hope people give it a try. A corporate hotel remodeled and now a family owned hotel. If you are looking in this area give this hotel a try. You will not regret it. Also the restaurant is great also.”

“Not the fanciest place but it was clean. They could use some new carpet. The beds were very soft. But sheets were nice and not too stiff (like some motels are) a plug on the outside to plug our EV in would have been nice but it’s all good. It was nice to have a fridge in the room. Overall not too bad of a stay, for the price. Staff was very kind!”

“This is a fantastic place for a family getaway! The house is great, well appointed, and very well kept. The view overlooking the Cedar River is mesmerizing with lots of wildlife and gorgeous sunsets. Cedar Falls is about five minutes away with lots of great shops and a variety of places to eat. ”

“What a peaceful, tranquil setting on the Shell Rock River. We had a family gathering - 3 brothers and their wives - near where we fished with our Dad and Grandfather 60 to 65 years ago and spent the week sharing positive memories! Thank you for sharing the River House with us.”

Attached garage available for 2 vehicle especially nice for rain or Iowa's Winter weather. Myself, my adult children and their significant other...found this home delightful & convenient location for our stay while we were in the area for a wedding, at Timber Edge. Literally 2 minute drive away ”
