“The entire family loved the house, the location and of course the beach. A perfect vacation that will probably be repeated.”

“We had the best stay! Clean and plenty of room for 2-4 people. The beds downstairs were so comfortable (we didn’t use the loft). It had everything we needed; towels, bedsheets, toilet paper, etc. which made our travels easy. It is conveniently located to Havelock, Morehead City, and Newport. ”

“We loved our stay at this cottage! The front porch with rockers was our favorite feature as was the charm of this historic place. It included everything we might need for the kitchen, and plenty of towels. The host was super responsive and helpful. It was a quick walk to the fun downtown/waterfront area. We highly recommend!”

“Home away from home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in New Bern complete with modern amenities, high end linens and the charm of a home built in 1895. We were able to walk to shops and restaurants with ease and used the bikes to go a bit further. Fire pit in the backyard was a great way to relax in the evening. Watching the train go by directly in front of the home was the main attraction. We will definitely book this home again when we return to New Bern. ”

“We loved the location and communication with the owner. An 8 minute walk to the waterfront and evwn closer (2 minutes) to the Farmer's Market. Note is that the driveway is pretty narrow so no room to turn around (so you need to either back into the drive or back into the road when leaving. Only other thing was we did feel the yard needed to be mowed/trimmed. Besides that minor observation, we loved staying here and would do so again.”

“We absolutely loved this cottage. It was immaculate and very cozy.The owner, Wendell,could have been any friendlier or hospitable.We walked to town to have lunch and shop. The kitchen was adequate for our needs and the bed was amazing. We in fact will return to this property for another weekend get away !”

“Beautiful historic 2 story house. We were 4 women on a girls' trip and the house was perfect! Huge kitchen and comfy living room. Master bedroom/bath on the first floor with 2 bedrooms upstairs (one of them had 2 queens). When we had a problem (our fault), the owner responded immediately.We were a few blocks from the waterfront so it was nice to be able to walk instead of having to get in the car every time we wanted to go somewhere. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!”

“Wonderful beach house, spectacular views from large decks with rocking chairs, big kitchen/great room area that can accommodate a large family gathering well. Wifi works well. Really handy washer and dryer. The outside gas grill was a lovely bonus! Hosts were responsive and generous. Could use an extra bathroom with a full house, but otherwise ideal for a large family gathering. ”

“We absolutely loved this place. My husband and I got away for the weekend for our anniversary. This place has everything you could think of. The kichen was fully stocked which was my favorite part because we both love cooking. It was the most homey feeling away from home. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was perfect too. I cant express how much we loved this place. We will definitely be returning.”
