“Cabin was stocked with everything we needed. Communication with the owner was timely and included all information we needed for access to cabin. Would be great if in the future that there was a pull out couch for extra people or a blow up mattress. Plenty of room for 4 people”

“This house and property offered my family everything indicated. From the accommodating house to the peaceful surroundings. The lake was as tranquil as expected from the photos. Our grandchildren and children found the paddleboat and boards fun and provided expected relaxation. I'm not sure my family could have found a more pleasant place to stay as we wanted quiet. We were able to witness a nesting bald eagle and sandhill cranes. The lake had very little boating traffic and even so, I could……

“We had a long-weekend getaway with family and friends. We stayed at this great cabin with bedrooms on 3 floors, sauna, deck, and perfect firepit. Close enough to walk to the resort. Great spot! Thak you for sharing!”

“My friends and I decided to have a mini staycation. I found this spot last minute and was so excited to enjoy the beautiful property. Check in was so easy and Renee was very kind and helpful. We had our dogs with us and they loved playing in the river. Just beware the current is strong. We had them on leashes at all times to make sure they didn’t float away. The bonfire area was perfect, right by the river where you can hear the water and see fireflies all around you! The beds were very clean……

“I booked a short stay, spur of the moment, and Peter was very kind and accommodating. He made the whole process extremely easy. The cottage is great! It sits right on Lower Herring Lake, so I had terrific views and complete lake access. The cabin is nicely appointed and has a spacious living room, and a very comfortable, cozy bedroom. The kitchen contains everything you need for your stay and the washer and dryer on the back indoor porch is an added bonus. I will be back!”

“The property is just as depicted. Welxomong, clean and cozy. It is well equiped with all the necessities. It is conveniently located and within 25 minutes of Manistee. The minor draw back is that its right off the highway. There is some noise but not much. ”

“Perfect for both my kids’ families with two large rooms that include beds for kids and then also a grandparents’ bedroom. Plenty of rooms/outdoor spaces to hang together or do separate activities. Beautifully decorated with everything you could need. Very thoughtful host! And we took advantage of the stocked.com service and had our groceries waiting when we got there! A short drive to Beulah to see Crystal Lake, Benzonia for putt-putt, Elbert or Frankfort (great food everywhere!) or just head……
