“Great time. Quiet neighborhood, would definitely stay again”

“This house and property offered my family everything indicated. From the accommodating house to the peaceful surroundings. The lake was as tranquil as expected from the photos. Our grandchildren and children found the paddleboat and boards fun and provided expected relaxation. I'm not sure my family could have found a more pleasant place to stay as we wanted quiet. We were able to witness a nesting bald eagle and sandhill cranes. The lake had very little boating traffic and even so, I could……

“Great location while visiting our family. The cabin has a great kitchen with everything we needed. It was clean with comfortable beds. We brought an extra fan with us. Host was quickly responsive when we had questions. ”

“My friends and I decided to have a mini staycation. I found this spot last minute and was so excited to enjoy the beautiful property. Check in was so easy and Renee was very kind and helpful. We had our dogs with us and they loved playing in the river. Just beware the current is strong. We had them on leashes at all times to make sure they didn’t float away. The bonfire area was perfect, right by the river where you can hear the water and see fireflies all around you! The beds were very clean……

“I booked a short stay, spur of the moment, and Peter was very kind and accommodating. He made the whole process extremely easy. The cottage is great! It sits right on Lower Herring Lake, so I had terrific views and complete lake access. The cabin is nicely appointed and has a spacious living room, and a very comfortable, cozy bedroom. The kitchen contains everything you need for your stay and the washer and dryer on the back indoor porch is an added bonus. I will be back!”

“Relaxation and fishing close to Manistee. My husband was thrilled about driving down a two-track (long drive way) to the cabin/house. (It was wider and mowed so not actually a two-track) Celebrating my bday! End ofJuly. Comfortable, open space(s) everywhere! I found all my comforts from home inside & outside. I loved the porch listening to rain. We cooked outside. The grounds were well taken care of my hubby said that helped reduce mosquitos? We are used to the outdoor life and we enjoyed the……
