“I booked a short stay, spur of the moment, and Peter was very kind and accommodating. He made the whole process extremely easy. The cottage is great! It sits right on Lower Herring Lake, so I had terrific views and complete lake access. The cabin is nicely appointed and has a spacious living room, and a very comfortable, cozy bedroom. The kitchen contains everything you need for your stay and the washer and dryer on the back indoor porch is an added bonus. I will be back!”

“Relaxation and fishing close to Manistee. My husband was thrilled about driving down a two-track (long drive way) to the cabin/house. (It was wider and mowed so not actually a two-track) Celebrating my bday! End ofJuly. Comfortable, open space(s) everywhere! I found all my comforts from home inside & outside. I loved the porch listening to rain. We cooked outside. The grounds were well taken care of my hubby said that helped reduce mosquitos? We are used to the outdoor life and we enjoyed the……

“The property is just as depicted. Welxomong, clean and cozy. It is well equiped with all the necessities. It is conveniently located and within 25 minutes of Manistee. The minor draw back is that its right off the highway. There is some noise but not much. ”

“Beautiful property in a secluded spot on the river. No mosquitos! Log cabin is immaculate with all the high end comforts of home including new appliances, very comfortable beds (slept great!) and WiFi. We really enjoyed the deck that led down to the bridge across the river. New gas grill and nice fire pit area with wood provided. Gated drive. Loved how peaceful it was.”

“Perfect for both my kids’ families with two large rooms that include beds for kids and then also a grandparents’ bedroom. Plenty of rooms/outdoor spaces to hang together or do separate activities. Beautifully decorated with everything you could need. Very thoughtful host! And we took advantage of the stocked.com service and had our groceries waiting when we got there! A short drive to Beulah to see Crystal Lake, Benzonia for putt-putt, Elbert or Frankfort (great food everywhere!) or just head……
