“Terrific northern location close to many beautiful Michigan hiking trails and scenic lookouts. Sweet little cabin tucked next to a babbling brook that is quite enchanting. ”

“Lake front and totally private; we fell asleep to the waves. The location is what makes this property incredible. We spent almost all of our time outside and enjoyed it thoroughly, including plenty of boats, chairs, and sand tots provided by the owner. There is a weirdly heavy infestation of fruit flies throughout the house that was unpleasant, some of the linens weren’t clean, and a few lights didn’t work. Peter was a responsive and gracious host!”

“My wife and I went to celebrate our anniversary. We weren’t able to enjoy the exterior with the heavy snow, but the inside was super cozy. We were plenty warm. An easy distance from Crystal Mountain Resort, and not too far from other towns if you are looking for restaurants, gas, groceries, etc. The owners were also super responsive. My wife and I would definitely stay here again.”

“The cabin is nice, a little dated. The stairs going to the second floor are a bit challenging. The detatched studio is a bit cold for the winter stay. Overall nice location, clean and well stocked.”

“This cabin was the perfect getaway! Shocking amount of stuff to do just minutes away. Clean and cozy. Hot tub and bonfire pit offered such a relaxing end to the evening. Thompsonville has great dining too. We visited iron fish distillery for a tasting and a snack. The food was AMAZING. We also explored crystal mountain to dine for dinner as well as took the 10 minute drive to Benzonia to shop and check out the new casino ”

“My sisters and I and Niece and grand nieces had a wonderful weekend together the house was perfectly located!! Right across from Crystal Lake , shops and restaurants we had fun just shopping walking the trail and some of us went to Sleeping Bear Dunes for the day , enjoyed being in a small town with kind people and the scenery was beautiful…the house was very quaint and all of what we needed was there for us!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!”
