“The property was well presented, a little tired in areas but clean and comfortable. Some areas could do with improvement and basic fixings need replacing. TV’s weren’t connected up so we couldn’t watch tv, sky didn’t work. Netflix only option on main tv in living room. Little things that make a stay better could be easily and cheaply sorted. The house was ideal for a short stay any longer and I’d expect it to be presented better. Bins not emptied outside from previous guests which were all……

“We had a lovely stay in this house. It was located in a beautiful location overlooking the estuary and a short drive from the local village. It was very clean and tranquil, exactly what was needed after getting away from a big city. The views of the many islands on the River Shannon were breathtaking. Anne was very friendly, easy to contact and accommodating to our needs. We would highly recommend it for somewhere to stay, especially to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in a picturesque setting”

“Hector's House is an excellent two bedroom apartment in Kilrush. It's clean, has comfy beds, a great living room, lots of hot water, a brilliant kitchen and a super television. The wifi is brilliant. We loved everything about this place. One tiny niggle - on the day we left we found some board games in a drawer in the hall! If we had known about these earlier, we would have used them! Definitely worth adding some information to the house information booklet (which is wittily written by the way),……

“As a large family with siblings travelling in from around the world to celebrate my fathers 80th birthday, we spent weeks trying to find a venue that would be suitable for a large family with kids ranging from 2 to 18. This venue was absolutely perfect for a weekend gathering of all ages . Maretta was so helpful in helping us coordinate a jumping castle, catering, a birthday cake. “Enjoyed our stay in the country. We stayed 3 days and toured the surrounding area from the cliffs of moher to ring of Kerry. Rooms and beds very comfy and shower warm and good pressure. It took some learning to get the hang of the water/shower system in Ireland so written notes would be helpful. Didn’t use washer and dryer since confusing how to use. Loved the cows! Very fun to watch. ”

“The first time I stayed in this building was in 1985. Then and now the best aspect of staying in the hotel adjacent to the Shannon Airport is the convenience. I returned my rental car the night I stayed (before I flew out in the morning). The car rental company gave me a lift back to the hotel. In the morning, I just had to roll my suitcase out the door, across the parking lot and to departures. The hotel room was spacious, clean, and had room for all my bits and bobs in the bathroom.……

“Stayed here for a night and automatically thought the size of the room was much bigger than you’d normally get for a „standard” room. Place was spotless. Very pleasant receptionists. Breakfast next morning was lovely too with plenty of choices. I stayed there to have a night away for myself and only downfall was lack of channels with movies etc/ Netflix but the staff assured me they are looking to upgrade the TV’s. 5 stars ”
