Located on a dead end road, there was no traffic noise and no lights visible at night. We enjoyed hiking on the Ice Age Trail nearby, biking on the Badger State Trail, swimming at the Verona High School Aquatic Center. and picking strawberries, as well as going into Madison for some great Thai food. “We had the best time! We came for a little weekend getaway with the whole family and agreed that we'd all love to be back for a longer time. The House was everything we were looking for and absolutely lovely. It was the perfect fit all around. ”

“A great place to stay for access to the driftless area of Wisconsin. Stayed here and fished a lot of the local streams for trout. The place was very clean, and felt like home. Recommend trying the Hi Point steakhouse if you’re in the area. Great food and cocktails. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets also a big plus.”

“This was my second time visiting Dalsøren and introducing it to my partner — seeing it through his eyes was so lovely! We also did a lot more in the area (my first trip was a hard reset where I didn't leave once and just took it all in). Getting around to Mt Horeb, Spring Green, and seeing a play at American Players Theatre just made the visit that more magical. HIGHLY recommend! ”

“Every time I messaged her before we booked and after we checked in she answered so fast! The house is beautiful! The main floor has 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom. It also has a deck off the living room. The basement is a big open room with all the games and two futons. There is also another room down there with a queen bed. “This house is great and most of all clean! As a large family we have stayed in a lot of rentals and cant tell you how many never matched the pictures and are scary gross. This house is so nice, large and the property is gorgeous. We vacation in WI every summer and this house will be the house we always stay at now.
