“The house is in a great location, less than five minutes from Bayfield, and an easy drive to many orchards.The views of Lake Superior were fantastic! Star gazing was amazing. Communication with the host was exceptional. This place is huge, very clean, well supplied and exceeded our expectations. It was perfect for our family vacation and we would definitely book it again in the future.”

What sold me on this property were all the gathering places for a group - the living room, dining room, front porch, the fire pit and the gazebo. “This multi-level house/cabin works well for family and friends to gather on the island. Lots of room inside and outside for potluck dinners and game nights. The basement 2br apartment was especially nice for our son's family with a toddler. The kitchen is well equipped and has excellent appliances. Claire was a great host and responded immediately to all questions. There is excellent storage and lots of refrigerator and freezer space for your island stay, ”

“Myself, my daughter & son & 6 grandchildren 12 years old to 6 years old had an awesome time. Check-in was very easy and Christopher was so accommodating answering my million questions about restaurants and fishing. The house was clean and very nice for a big family or group of friends. My children loved fishing off the pier and the kayak & canoe too. My 10 year old grandson caught like a 35 inch northern pike in the canoe not far from the house. The 12 year old caught like a 4 pound large mouth……

“Quiet rural retreat on wooded property, beautiful design and layout, beautiful surroundings. We came for the weekend to have a peaceful retreat and go to a couple plays at APT, and the house delivered in every way. ”

“Perfect lake house, for our family with 3 teens. House was great and lots of communication from owner via email and binder. We did all the lake stuff.. paddleboard, kayak, swim, fish and it was perfect. My favorite was floating in the water and reading on the dock. According to the notes and reviews, upstairs loft and small bedroom were quite warm but it was also August and very hot outside. Otherwise a comfortable retreat. “This place was a dream for our family. It was so nice to be able to sit and enjoy meals together at the same time. Every suite had multiple sleeping areas and a sitting area. There was plenty of space for everyone and the kids loved the game room and fishing off the dock! We had rented the boat which was fun to cruise around the lake through the day. There are also plenty of fridges for food and drinks! Couldn't recommend this place enough for large groups! ”
