“8th Street Blues was great! Spacious and easy to get to. We took the Amtrak train into La Crosse and it was a very short uber to the property. It was also within 10 mins of downtown and the river, which was great for when we had some downtime. There was plenty of room for two couples and even space for more if needed. Would definitely recommend going forward!”

“This is such a cute home and the property is beautiful. Sometimes cute equals just ok, but not in this case. It's just so cute.The back porch is amazing and we spent a lot of time out there. The porch faces west, so we saw a couple of beautiful sunsets.There are some minor cosmetic issues, but nothing that detracted from us enjoying our stay.Would absolutely stay again.”

“Clean place and accommodate good numbers of people. Location is also strategic near La Crosse, but you can do fishing, hiking or other things. We are family of six visiting for Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe and a day at La Crosse had a good time.”

“The owner Paula was awesome! The house is comfortable, well taken care of, clean and has all the things you need. We stayed there for a bachelorette party and spent a lot of our time relaxing at the house playing games at the table and enjoying the beautiful view of the Mississippi River. Only a 20 minute drive from downtown LaCrosse. It was too hot for a campfire during our visit but we would have utilized the covered fire pit if we could have! Very reasonably priced and great place. “Perfect for our visit. The host is responsive and accommodating. House was clean and spacious, and had everything needed. The beds were comfortable. Steps away from Parrot State Park walking trail. A quick drive takes you to a cute little downtown area with plenty of options for a drink or lunch. We had a nice dinner at Sullivans Supper Club. Would stay again. “After a day on the road,it was so nice to get to this big, beautiful house! My kids enjoyed exploring all of the rooms and seeing what the owners brought back from their travels. Beds were comfortable and checking in/out was easy. If we were in the area, I would stay here again!”
