“We had a lovely time in this Beautifully located house, with an amazing view of the Skye Island. The house it self was well equipped, spacious and clean. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend! ”

Karl, a low key, but attentive host, welcomed us with quick instructions on how to use some of the appliances, etc. The furnishings, cookware, dishes, and utensils were the best I have ever seen in a rental property—6 cutting boards! We cooked breakfast and dinner all 4 days. The setting, which overlooked Loch Eil, was rural, with sheep, birds and deer; just an incredibly peaceful……

“This is a lovely cottage which perfectly combines old and new, snug and light, comfort and practicality. We loved the choice of materials, fabrics and muted colours. Highlights of our stay were the white sandy beaches at Portruick and Sanna, the magical setting of Castle Tioram and the ancient Oakwood and riverside at Ariundle.”

The large gathering spaces were perfect for our group of fourteen; and the charming bedrooms were welcome getaways. Room to sprawl, and to come together.”

“We stayed in the cottage 24 years ago and loved it. It has not changed much. This is the charm of the place. The cottage is situated in a quiet setting on Loch Sunart and after exploring all day was a nice place to relax and unwind. Our host Charlie was great. We had a water issue and it was handled straight away. I hope to return soon. A week was to short.”
