“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”

“This has to be one of the nicest stays we have had in the UK. The experience from start to finish was amazing. The host Emma was attentive and so welcoming to her beautiful home. It really has a family feel but with all the luxury you could wish for. The setting is stunning and the views are breathtaking. “Mary was excellent! It was nice to have options for breakfast, and Mary made sure the breakfast was prepared hot and at the time we had indicated. The room was great, we stayed in Room 1 and there was lots of room, including a couch that could be a sofa bed. The bathtub was an added bonus, separate from the shower. The bed was comfortable. ”

“Staff were excellent, and very hospitable. The food at their restaurant/cafe was simply superb. The room was decent, pretty much as advertised. A couple of minor issues about the facilities were brought to the owners' attention, but otherwise, the stay was a very pleasant experience. Thank you!”

“A cheap place to stay if you just need a place to sleep. Run down and mostly broken. Add to it the most inhospitable and rude receptionist which complained about everything but found it OK to "walk" his dog for a 5am morning pee at the trash cans in the small common area backyard.”
