“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”

“We had the MacKinnon room. It was a beautiful room with a great view. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom floors were heated. The window only opens a crack and bugs and flies get in because they dont have any screens. Great water pressure. There is a steam room and sauna that you can use. “This has to be one of the nicest stays we have had in the UK. The experience from start to finish was amazing. The host Emma was attentive and so welcoming to her beautiful home.
