“Suite was beautiful. One of the nicest we've stayed in Scotland. Self-serve breakfast and snacks in our suite were delicious, ample, and restocked. Loved it. A little out of the main part of town, but it takes seconds to drive and minutes to walk. ”
“The room was good with a large bathroom and perfectly acceptable. But it wasn't great. No chairs to sit in, only window seats which were uncomfortable. We were in room 1, right by the front door so rather noisy until the restaurant closed and our window (with a great view) was by the front door, so it felt a bit like being in a goldfish bowl.
Would I stay again? Maybe, it was OK, just not great.”
“This was a charming but rustic property. I expected that, as I read the age of the hotel. Tub/shower was a bit rickety, but clean. The rooms are heated with radiators that are on timers...you cannot control the temp yourself. Food at their restaurant was great. The place just needs a bit of TLC.”

“We stayed for 2 nights. On arrival, the reception staff were extremely welcoming and friendly.
We went to our room which was a king-size sea view. The view is even better than any picture will have you believe. Breathtaking. Loved having a little balcony with comfortable chairs and just enjoying the view and silence.
The room was spotless. On the 2nd day, the cleaners chapped the door and asked if we wanted anything cleaned or if any of the tea/coffee/teacakes needed replenished. This was a……

“This is a wonderful hotel, great location to access everything on Iona, staff clearly enjoy working there, as nothing was too much trouble and shared lots of local knowledge and lovely warm hospitality. Really helpful to have concierge to help with bags up from the ferry.
The hotel lounge is just as enjoyable as seeing the island as it looks across the water and so you can just breathe in the view.
Food was high standard and lovely they have a kitchen garden so lots of fresh organic……
“On a hill with a great view. Accommodations were excellent. A bit difficult to find for someone not familiar with the area and non-numbered house addresses. Just ask for directions from one of the neighbors you’ll likely find walking their dog and you’ll be fine. ”

“Ensuite was across the hall and shared, toilet down the hall - not what I was expecting and floor a bit rickety underfoot. Actual room was good with plenty of space and a view of the bay and across Oban. Easy walking distance to all Oban facilities - train, ferries, buses, shopping, restaurants and pubs. ”
