“Had a wonderful stay here. Accommodations were great and location perfect. We left a few things behind and they contacted us right away so we were able to retrieve them before we left the island. Food was great as well. Would recommend if you plan to visit the Isle of Mull which is stunning.”

“We stayed 2 days and it was excellent. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The large drawing room that overlooks Loch Melfort was also available for us to use which we enjoyed. We enjoyed a delicious 4 course dinner on the evening of our arrival prepared and served by our host Mathew. This was our first visit to Melfort House and hopefully we will be back again soon.”

“The staff on arrival were amazing. There was no space in the car park and one of staff moved their vehicle so we had a place to park. The check in process was seamless and all staff were ready to help us if needed. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed. Breakfast the following morning was delicious and served by enthusiastic staff. “This is a beautiful property and well worth a visit. Despite my train arriving after check-in, it was very easy to access my room. The room was a good size and very clean. The hostess is friendly and extremely accommodating. If you use public transportation, be aware that the property is near Pulpit Hill, so there is some steep walking. However, buses do serve this area, and you can get a taxi. I came to Scotland to hike, so the uphill walk was a welcome part of the trip. The house was less……

“What a stunning location , looking over water and mountains , the staff was very friendly , food was exceptional , the room was spacious with clean comfortable bed , excellent shower , really would of liked if we could of had a room at the front overlooking the bay , but we had dogs , and only rooms available for dogs was at the rear , but all in all an excellent place for our holiday , many thanks Jeff and Toni ”

“I am rooting for these guys! It’s a beautiful place and we loved staying in Oban away from the tacky ocean front area spots. We loved the views and the grounds and the library with the assortment of whiskeys. Here is a photo of some highlights! The library and the peacock and the views. Looks like a castle. ”
