“I am not a boring Hilton mom. I love to immerse my family into the culture and local fokelore of our destinations. My children are all adults and we have stayed at some doozeies, but every now and then we find a hidden Gem. The Hat House is definitely just that. The fact that it is shaped like a hat barely touches the magic of this place. If a house that lived in my mind could come to fruition, this would be it. Every little thing, from the cowboy cat rug in the bathroom to the ruler box tucked……

“This place had plenty of room and a great view of the lake. Lots of room in the driveway for all of our family to park. We were able to have all of our adult children and their kids join us for Thanksgiving here. The house has been updated to have a modern look and lot's of amenities. The garage was converted to a kids room with bunk beds, arcade games and lot's of room to play. Very satisfied with our stay here. ”

“We had a large group staying for competition purposes in Huntsville. The house provided plenty of sleeping space, as well as room to spread out and study, fellowship, and prepare for our contests. The laundry room was very handy, and the kitchens and bathrooms provided all necessary towels, shampoo, soap, etc. We really enjoyed the stay.”

Convenient to residential areas around the Lakes. We were at large family reunion. Heard no outside noises, slept late undisturbed. ”

“Perfect place if you are looking for a peaceful little getaway. I would suggest bringing items to grill or cook as it is a country place with minimal restaurant options. This place was perfect for us and we picked up food from local spots a couple of times. Our labs were happy to roam outside and swim. Nice short stay with the gals. ”

“My family adored our stay on this lovely, serene property. We spent a lot of time at the creek. My kids loved being able to pet the goats and see the chickens. It was very peaceful and restful. We made a fire in the fire pit each night and told stories. It was easy to cook on the little cook stove. Everything was clean and we had all we needed. Very thoughtfully set up cabin. The hostess is always available if needed. We loved it. ”
