“Had to drive home from NYC instead of flying and stayed here. It was great for us to get a bit of rest before hitting the road again. Only downside is the breakfast didn't open until 10 minutes after we were leaving and the staff would not permit us to grab something to take with us before we hit the road on our long journey home.”

“This is one of our favorite hotels to stay at, and we stay at hotels at least 1-2 nights a week. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. They're indoor swimming pool is large and deep, indoor hot tub for guest use is amazing, the decor and feel of the place is superior! We normally stay in one of their spa tub rooms, but, being Valentine's Day weekend, there were not available for this stay. However, with the indoor pool and hot tub available to all guests, it was still a very wonderful……

“My daughter and I stayed here for one night when there was an issue with our air bnb. It was a last minute booking and Dawn got our room ready in very little time with lots of lovely personal details. The room was beautifully furnished, spacious and comfortable and Dawn goes above and beyond to ensure her guests are comfortable with tea, coffee, wine, soft drinks and snacks (including delicious home baked cookies) available to help yourself. In the evening she showed us the amazing evening……

“We absolutely loved our stay at the Thornwald Mansion. It is nicely secluded in a park yet you are within walking distance to Dickinson College and a shopping center. The property has outstanding amenities and the food selections at breakfast were delicious. The service exceeded our expectations. The room and the bed were comfortable and very quiet. This mansion went under fire and then was rebuilt by the current owner from the ground up paying attention to detail and preserving its history. The……
