“Following its recent refurbishment, The Tarbet Hotel blends historic elegance with modern comfort in a stunning location, great for hillwalkers and couples. My only critique is that the dinner service was a bit slow and the menu felt like poor value for money, but we enjoyed the fish pie and chicken schnitzel. Breakfast was exceptional!”

“Alan, Lee and Mani were amazing! Be sure you take a walk out back to the river. Food was excellent and will be coming back again my next time in Scotland. There are a few things that they are working on to make the place even better, but a great choice for us.”

“Really enjoyed our stay at Tontine. Very well located for getting around Greenock and travelling to Glasgow and other surrounding towns. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and rooms were clean and comfortable. There were quite a few parties over the weekend in the event room but we didn’t hear anything when we went back to our rooms. Nice and quiet. Would recommend. ”

“This was repeat business. Already stayed in that room years before. Very spacious and quiet. Loved the complimentary Wafer biscuits! Continental Breakfast, well catered for, in the Bar/Bakery is a clever culinary trap! Once the Scones/Shortbread/Cakes get out of the kitchen, spreading amzing smells, one feels compelled to purchase those delicacies for later in your trip. Staff super friendly.
