“Great vintage kitchen and cute bathroom! The location is perfect, close to all the Andy Griffith tourist locations and to downtown area for shopping, close enough to walk to if you can. The neighborhood is very quiet and we felt very safe. ”

It was a little difficult to get around to them due to most nearby sections of the Blue Ridge Parkway being closed, but they were available if you went in a roundabout way. We loved breakfast at Rusty Rooster Southern Breakfast in Mount Airy, they had so many options! Definitely hit downtown Mount Airy if you are up for adventuring!”

“I stayed here with some friends to get away and do some hiking. This is a very special home. I've never stayed anywhere like it. History permeates the property and house itself. Yet you have all the modern amenities you could need. The sound of the waterfall is with you inside or outside and creates a very peaceful environment. The bunk beds are not in the bedroom as the posting indicates. This didn't affect us but for anyone reading this it might be helpful to know they're located outside the……
