“We booked a stay here for easy access to Lebanon and Hanover, NH. Once in our room, we found there was a problem connecting to the internet. Our hostess, Rita, came up to the room to help. Once she saw the problem, she changed our room to be closer to the router, and changed a setting on my husband's computer to help him connect. This was a time-consuming matter, and Rita stayed with us the whole time to make things right. Our room was clean and well supplied, and the free breakfast the next……

“We enjoyed our weekend stay! The room was very clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and the amazing view. Yes, the walls were thin and at times we could hear the next room, however most people are respectful of the quiet times posted and the room had a sound machine. “I visit Springfield at least once a year, this is my second stay at the hartness house, I’ve stayed in the mansion and in the hotel, I have been very happy with both options. The mansion is stunning and enjoying a coffee and pastry in the mansion in the morning is lovely. I’m glad to see this historic building being taken care of so thoughtfully. ”
