“The first thing I noticed was how clean and well put together the property was. Inside the cabin was spotless, making me feel like I was the first person to ever stay in it. The cabin was stocked with the essentials, just as listed. The lake access is about half a mile from the cabin. There is a Walmart near by, a few fast food and restaurant stops, and some cute antique stores in town. My only "complaint" is the neighborhood is a little run down with older homes and some (looked to be vacant)……

“My family and our good friends stayed 2 nights at the Coulter Farmstead. The farm is so nice and it was fun to explore! They have a really cute mini Highland bull and a small herd of mini cattle. There are also goats, 2 pigs, chickens, dogs and cats. It was really nice to drink coffee on the porch in the mornings and watch the animals. The proprietors are very nice and attentive. It was a very nice quiet place to relax. There is also a creek on their property. I wished we could have stayed one……
