“Very lovely remote cabin in the woods. We were there because of the fall colors and photographing waterfalls. We were about 9 miles to the nearest town, Mellen, WI. And there was a gas station and grocery/hardware/liquor store in Mellen. The place was very clean. We always do our own cooking and the kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of room for the two of us. “Beautiful view. Pet Friendly. We stayed in the guest house. It was right off Hwy 13 including parking. Couldn’t hear traffic from inside though. It was on top of the hill looking out to Lake Superior. At bottom of motel property you can walk onto the trail Browntrail? It’s takes you along lake and into marina area and downtown. You can easily walk to and from downtown from motel. You can see the sunrise over lake from room. Nice new furnishings. Could use a luggage rack, light by parking and……
